Feeding the fishy.....
Normally we are not too concerned that it is so quiet in the house when just Will is around. He can keep himself queitly occupied all day long reading his books, coloring with his crayons, and playing with his matchbox cars...he is truly a self entertainer. Well this wasn't one of those times. Amie decided to check on him to see what he was up to and found him just as he had finished feeding the kids beta fish....2 complete jars of fish food!!! Luckily Amie was able to save the day and the fish. I don't think this little fish needed another meal for a while!!

Wow, that Betta was following the prophets by storing 2 years worth! I am sure that Will thought he was doing the fish a favor. Amazing how tough fish can be.

ReplyDeleteWow, that is a whole lotta food! If you look at Jennifer and Jeremy Ward's blog there is a very similar post on theirs a few months ago, so, I guess it isn't an abnormal occurance!
ReplyDeleteYep! I remember Jacob doing that...at home years ago-he also did it to the 'classroom fish' at school! Way to save the day Amie!
ReplyDeleteoh i am soooo glad there are other stories like this out there. also glad that your fish survived. many times they just don't make it! our 2-year-old, jackson, has dumped all the fish food in the tank on several occasions. there is always at least one casualty when that happens. you'd think we'd learn. here's a classic post on one of our fish tank adventures from a few months ago.
